Non-Alcoholic Beverages
Are you aware that Non-Alcoholic beverages have regulations as well. The are not as cumbersome as Alcohol laws, but can be just as trick. A non-alcoholic beverage is considered to be any product which ABV is less than 0.05%
Non-Alcoholic beverages may be direct shipped to the consumer. Very few states require a permit of any sort, but may require a state sales tax permit.
The tax laws are a whole different structure as well and are based on thresholds and sales. A threshold is a level of sales in either dollar volume or invoices/cases generated.
Most thresholds are set for $50,000 to $100,000 gross sales or 2500 separate transactions, but do vary by regulatory authority and in some states by county.
Let Keldon help you navigate through these regulations.
